It is, then, around the Sun that the true fables of all mythologies weave their magic dance. And their legend is ever the mystery which we have learnt in Christian symbol, the threefold mystery of Incarnation -- Life, Death, Resurrection and Ascension. These five are one, and this is the history of every God, and every man.

complexities
There lies the great secret; the men who mould the destinies of humanity are the most evolved and therefore the most highly complex types. They are not men who have small interests here, and small functions there; they have built up every factor in their being into a single composite pattern. Often the manifestations of the complex will be widely divergent, on the surface, but this is only another symptom of the complexity. All this is explained by Astrology.

I've got soul in my bones
Got a home, a dog and a man to call my own
Every month I've got my period to take care of
And to collect in blue tampons
Na na na
Na na na na
I've got mace, pepper-spray
And some shoes that runs faster than a rapist rapes
What I need is chemical castrations, hope and godspeed

"IDEAS CAN BE WORKS OF ART; THEY ARE IN A CHAIN OF DEVELOPMENT THAT MAY EVENTUALLY FIND SOME FORM. ALL IDEAS NEED NOT BE MADE PHYSICAL."
SOL LEWITT
gahh so hard! because i always seem to need to find a way to take my ideas and turn them into something! whether they just be written down.. because maybe i am scared that an idea will leave me? that i will forget it?
but sometimes it is impossible to take an idea and make it concrete, like when you think something in your head and it just makes so much sense but then how to do you explain it? and it never comes out with the same intensity as when you're thinking it and like the less words you use to explain it or the more vague your explanation the easier it can be understood.

ADDITION:
The conceptual artist Sol LeWitt has spoken of his systematic method of creating work as a necessary method for staying true to his original idea. When relying on emotion, emotion can change day to day and so the piece of art can stray away from its original idea. By keeping a somewhat systematic method in reviewing art, and not relying on the solely emotional aspect of a piece, it can be described and explained while still staying true to its original idea and having it be understand it a clear manner. This of course does not mean that emotion should never take place in either a piece of art or in its review, but it should definitely be considered as something that is always changing and may cause issues in trying to concretize it.

Deities wearing snakes as their emblems often bear them in the shape of the crescent moon, symbol of growth and fertility. But through the moon the snake is also associated with night, death, and menstrual blood.
The crescent moon also suggests horns. Horns derived additional symbolic power from their connection with the phallus and with the procreative powers of bull animals. Horns are also identified with the rays of the sun. The sign of horns (such as the upturned horseshoe) brings good luck, fertility, and power.
The Devil's horns therefore symbolize his princely power, but they also carry a powerful negative connotation. Horns bring to mind the danger of wild beasts and the bull that gores; they suggest the mysterious, frightening otherness of animals; and their association with the moon recalls not only fertility but also night, darkness, and death.

In model A, supermaterial entities such as God or the Devil may be active; in model B they are not. Most educated people today would assume that there is a presumption in favor of model B. In fact neither model is essentially more likely than the other. Additionally, no empirical evidence can be summoned to refute Model A.
Science is by definition limited to the study of the physical qualities of space/time and its inhabitants; it cannot by definition deal with super material entities. History by definition deals with the action of human beings, it cannot by definition deal with the activities of alleged supernatural entities.
The roles of science and history are equally stringent whether model A or B represent the truth. Historical and scientific evidence point neither to one model nor the other. Model A is as likely as model B, and it cannot be assumed that unique events or "miracles" that violate natural "laws" cannot occur. Actually, much in human experience points toward model A, though this sort of experience cannot serve as scientific or historical "evidence" because history and science by definition do not discuss such things.

Countless studies have proven that non-depressed people lie to themselves way more than depressed people do. Depressed people are far more likely to report, for example, that they are average drivers; most non-depressed people will claim to be above-average, though this is statistically impossible.
(thx pc)
Successful people, like the best athletes for example, are especially good at self-deception. They have to be. “I’m the best. I’m going to win. Nobody can beat me.” That kind of thinking is way more likely to help you win the race than “I’m only slightly above average; many of these people are better than I am” – although that may be true. Fair enough.

when a man is living, he is soft and supple.
when he is dead, he becomes hard and rigid.
when a plant is living, it is soft and tender.
when it is dead, it becomes withered and dry.
hence, the hard and rigid belongs to the company of the dead:
the soft and supple belongs to the company of the living.
